Ty Mawr Holiday Park is run by the well-run holiday park company of Parkdean Resorts. This holiday/campsite is situated in North Wales and is only a ten-minute drive from Abergele Railway Station. If you are coming by car, this park is situated in an excellent location in the North of Wales to tour the coast and places in Western England, including Liverpool and Manchester.

So if you want to hire a static caravan at Ty Mawr or bring your own touring caravan, you can. Even if you have a tent and would like to sleep under the stars, then this is the ideal holiday park to come to in North Wales.

The static caravans available are well-spaced, and the park is extremely well-kept. No matter how you want to live in the park, either in a static, touring caravan or tent, you can use all the excellent facilities at this park, including all the entertainment show that take place in the evenings and the indoor swimming pool with flumes. Also, of course, you can use all the parks, bars and restaurants.

The facilities at this park are excellent, with an outdoor play area for the children (photo to the left) with also several kids clubs available for your children, including Little Sparks under 5's. Hoppers for 5-7's, Jumpers for 8-11's, Xcite for Teens 12-16+.

If you are into your water activities, this park has it all with Indoor Fun Pool with Flume, Water Resorts Programme, Hydrodomes, Waterworx, Blading, Miami Beach Surf Rescue, and Snorkelling, all available. You are also only 10 minutes walk away from the beach, which is excellent for the whole family to enjoy a day at the seaside with the knowledge you are close to your living quarters if you do happen to forget the all-important sun cream.

With all these water activities, you know that your kids will always have plenty to do, and this will give you time to relax if that is your thing. Other activities at Ty Mawr are all very active, including Sports Resorts Programme, All Weather Sports court, Ready Steady Bow, 5-a-Side Football, Festival of Football, Archery, Darts and Pool.

This park has so much to do in the way of entertainment with a Rockstat Supercars show, Super Bunny Show, Alice in Boogieland, and many, many more artists that do the tours of the holiday parks in Wales and further afield. Like most of the Parkdean Resorts – Ty Mawr is no different and has a wide range of accommodations on offer. The grading system for their caravans starts off at Bronze, then to Silver and Gold, but all their static caravans are in excellent condition, with the gold caravans and Platinum range being normally just released to the park. If you are a pet lover, then you will have to take the Bronze class, as these are the only caravans that pets are allowed in. When staying at any of the caravan 'grades', this park has to offer, you will receive free gas and electricity and all access to the fun and games that the park has to offer, including all of the above facilities mentioned.
