Hafan y Môr Holiday Park is situated on the North Wales coast not far from Porthmadog on the Llyn Peninsula. It is an great place for a family holiday which caters for self-catering accommadation and also your touring needs. Within the park there is a RopeWorks Adventure Course which will keep your kids busy for most of the day and also several kids club for all ages. The swimming pool that you can see in the picture is excellent and one for the whole family to enjoy with Flume and Slides. There is so much room in this pool to enjoy yourself and also a seating area where us grown-ups can relax with a good book while watching out kids have the time of their lives.
Hafan y Môr Holiday Park is a great park for all the family no matter what age.. There is so much entertainment and sporting activities going on that rain or shine the whole family are in for a treat. There is kids clubs which caters for all the different age groups. Other facilities include a All-Weather Multi-Sports Court with a number of sports being held there. There is also Football Coaching if you kids are between 5-16 years old, and Archery Coaching and Fencing Coaching for kids over 8 years old.
There is so much entertainment at this park that you will never feel that there is nothing to do and at night there is nightly entertainment and a Barrel Lounge-Bar-Café where you can sit with your feet up and plan your next days touring of the local North Wales countryside or the next beach you are going to visit. Truely excellent holiday facities and one that you will want to come back to year after year.
Athas an excellent campsite for your touring caravan or tent as there are 72 pitches available and a shower block very nearby. The campsite is only a 2 minute walk from the main park and the excellent leisure facilities that you can use even if you are bring your own accommodation. The park also accepts Tourers, Motorhomes and Trailer Tents. If you are just wanting to rent a static caravan these come in several grades and best to look up the Haven website again to get full details. There are also self-catering accommodation at where you can rent out a holiday home for two weeks and is a great base for your travels around Snowdonia, North Wales and the Llyn Peninsula.
Facts you need to know about the touring area of the park
If you are travelling from the North & North West At Chester, head up the A55 and A5. The join A487 to Caernarfon, then follow along the A499 to Pwllheli. After that take the A497 to Pothmadog where the park is only 3 miles out of Pwllheli.
If you are travelling from the Midlands & the South take the M54 to Telford, then A5 past Oswestry and Llangollen. Take A494 to Bala. Whern you have reached Bala turn right for Porthmadog, then turn left at the roundabout in Porthmadog, signposted for Criccieth and Pwllheli. The parks is just 3 miles out of Criccieth.
